Journalists detained in South Sudan

KAMPALA – The Foreign Correspondents’ Association of Uganda (FCAU) is concerned about the detention of Ugandan journalists Justin Dralaze and Hillary Ayesiga in Juba, South Sudan.
Dralaze, a FCAU member, was arrested together with his colleague Ayesiga and has been in deten-tion since. They were visiting Juba on assignment for Features Story News.
Their driver, a Ugandan based in Juba was also arrested. Ugandan government officials are working towards their release.
FCAU urges South Sudanese authorities to release them as soon as possible.
FCAU is professional association for Ugandan and foreign journalists, working in Uganda, for foreign news media.
